Excellent purchase
The waterproof jacket is of excellent quality, and a perfect fit, I look forward to getting plenty of wear from it. I discussed a couple of details with a staff member direct at Montane, and found them to be very helpful & knowledgeable.

Outstanding protection from the elements
I wore this on Helvellyn recently in a 50 mph blizzard, encountering sleet & freezing rain. It kept me dry throughout. It was comfortable, light & kept me dry the next day when it rained for the entire time.
I chose red as it's very visible & I couldn't fault it

Montane Men's Phase Waterproof Jacket
This jacket has all the bits I looked for in a waterproof, deep pockets and a double zip with a fit close enough to not be easily wind blown , great for a running / walking mix in all conditions.
