    Love this pack

    Absolutely fantastic pack, has been on numerous adventures with me and I have allowed someone else to borrow it and they have since invested in their own one. I got the navy colour which is great. Lots of great storage, all in the right place.

    Not the best for getting a drink of water

    This is a beautifully made pack, with lots of pockets and you can get a lot in it.

    However, I don't think the water access has really been thought out. My montane soft flasks don't fit in the chest pockets, with the tops poking out too far and the bottles can fall out if you bend over. In addition to this, I would need to purchase some of the drinking straws to be able to take a sip without bending my neck awkwardly. I also feel it would have been far more practical if one of the side pockets was shorter so that you could access a bottle from there. I think I'm going to have to buy a water bladder to address these problems, even though I'm not keen on them.

    Excellent

    After trying out some other hiking bags, this is the only one where I can carry a heavy amount and feel comfortable. I’m mainly using it to move my things between two houses and am carrying heavy things, I can hardly feel the weight and the hip belt is comfortable. The load lifters are a life saver. I will be using this to summit Kilimanjaro next year. All the stretchy pockets mean you can take loads in this bag and a bonus the colour is lovely .

    I am petite (size xs 5”4) and the straps are at the tightest setting for me, the hip belt could cinch further for a smaller frame.
