Comfortable, effective, high quality
Used this for a trail marathon where I wanted to carry my own water - did the job perfectly. Lightweight, comfortable, easy to use. Plenty of space (light waterproof and mid-layer in the back, gels & food in side pockets, two good bottles well-positioned high on the straps so I could drink on the move without removing them. front fasteners work really well for quick removal and access. As a Green Runner I try not to buy kit unless it's really essential, and I'm really pleased with this investment as it will equip me well for short & longer runs and should last well.

Takes getting used to
If you haven't run with a chest pack before, they take some getting used to. I initially found this bounced around a little too much, despite tight adjustment. With a bit more playing around with the waist strap and double chest strap, I think I've found a more comfortable position in which to wear it, however, it's still not as comfortable as other chest packs I have used. It is, however, well designed with good pocket options on the back without strain on the zip when loaded, and easily accessible front pockets for snacks and essentials. I will keep adjusting as I use it and hopefully will find the sweet spot - don't expect to run with it straight out of the packet unless you've used a Gecko before!
