    2 years in

Two years in and unfortunately I avoid using this pack, I don't look forward to it. I continue to because it was an investment for me. I love that it is waterproof and how lightweight it is. The pole carry system is bogus. I have to stick my poles into the mesh sides of the bag, but there's no strap above the mesh pockets to tighten the poles down so they wobble around etc. I don't know who thought it was a good idea for the chest straps to be removable. I've lost one of them. I don't know why the front of the pack has zippered pockets instead being open so you could have the option to put the 750 ml bottles instead if you wanted, which what modern packs all have. The miniscule compression tightening system for compressing the pack down are surprisingly strong, so that is cool, but I am always feeling nervous about tightening them so it still doesn't *feel* like a good experience tightening those (the super skinny ones on the outside). I would not buy this pack again, yet it continues to be just good enough to keep using instead of buying a new one.

    Exellent bag for trail running

Top quality bag with a well thought out design, would highly recommend. If I were to make one recommendation (although a small one), it would be to add interchangeable clips to the fastenings at the top of the bag, allowing the bag to also be closed roll-top style if desired by clipping the two edges together. But it's a great piece of kit!

    Tested it properly

Used it as a daily bag on my 4-month South American backpacking trip in different weather and climates.

Lost both chest straps in the first two weeks. Actually I lost and managed to found those several times until they got lost for ever. At least one end of those should be abled to be fixed more steadily. Without chest straps it was not the same bag anymore. I found the bags main opening not to be the best solution, specially if bag is not full. I liked the mesh posckets, tho connections with front zippers are useless and would prefer these to be on their own. As I was wearing a camera or a phone on my chest pockets and encountered quite many sudden rains, at least one of them should be waterproof. I wish the bag was more compressble into its own pocket or smth while not in use. All in all it has a long way to go for perfection.
