    My first pair of mitts

    I wanted to give these a try as I had heard they were warmer than conventional 5 finger gloves. Having worn them for the first time in -5 temperatures, I can say they were up to the task. I found that they work much better with a thin liner glove. I haven't tested them in wet conditions as of yet so, can't comment on waterproofness. Happy with my purchase though.

    Montane Prism Dry Line Waterproof Mitts

    These Mitts are not cheap, but they do compress really well So far I've used them on a run and for a short time snowboarding. Being so lightweight, and with their small pack size, they are ideal to just throw in your bag, and have if your main gloves wet out/blow away/get dropped.

    Really warm and very light. They come up fairly large so room for a liner glove underneath
