    Excellent but just one, actually two, improvements

    Excellent hard wearing material, and the stretch fit is as described - much better than the Nordes softshell in that respect. As an outdoor professional, I’ve used these Dynamic XT’s (and the Tenacity XT’s when they were Terra Mission) ski touring (and winter mountaineering) and were a better option than the Nordes due to the closer fitting, stretch fit. Ankle zips just about accommodate ski touring boots.

    Two improvements: 1. The two-way thigh vents are good, but the thigh pocket is the smallest of all Montane’s normally useful outdoor legwear pockets and needs lengthening. In this current form it won’t take a small smartphone - (sticks out the top by 4-5cm.), and even a cut-down laminated map struggles to fit in. (Something for the teenagers there - a ‘map’ - something we used to use before online mapping crashed navigation skills).

    2. Offer another colour option in addition to the ubiquitous black and I would definitely buy an additional pair of Dynamic XT’s
