    Like a warm fleecy hug

    These leggings are great base layers for winter activity. I used them hill walking and mountaineering - they kept me toasty warm and I generally didn’t find them too irritating, which is a common complaint of mine for long johns! I did notice a small amount of annoyance from the seams which break the waistband on both hips, which became a little irritating when a pack waist band sits on it and moves around slightly, but nothing dramatic.

    Bottom line is warm and comfortable, just need to get the position of the layers right if putting a rucksack waist strap on top with any substantial pack weight.

    Warm and

    The great quality I’ve come to expect from Montane. Used in combination with a Tenacity XT trousers, these keep me warm during cold winter hikes and high altitude winter gliding flights. Perfect sizing and very warm.
