    Not a fleece, rather a base layer

    This is not a fleece in that it is so thin and light that it must be considered a base layer rather than a mid layer as a 'fleece' would more usually be thought of. I had previously been a fan of Montane garments but quality is falling.

    The Protium Fleece Pull-On Jacket is made with 260g/m² Thermo Grid 4 way stretch smooth face fleece, which is intended to be lightweight and packable, enabling freedom of movement.

    If you're looking for a heavier weight fleece, perhaps the Chonos or Caldus would be more suitable.
