    Super flexible bit of kit

    These lightweight Protium fleeces are a super flexible piece of wear for the mountains. Over a wool base layer, they are enough for down to zero degrees when moving. Don't know how they do it, but I find I'm never cold nor overheat. They allow a bit of air flow, which I prefer. They are not wind resistant for when its blowing. Then put a down or primaloft type jacket on over the top when on the tops of the ridges and its blowing. Suprisingly hard wearing: no signs of piling or pulls from my backpack.

    The Montane Protium Lite Pull On Fleece is a versatile lightweight midlayer with a superb weight to warmth ratio. Close fitting and very comfortable, it can be used throughout the year. A superb piece of kit.
