    A great pair of Gaiters

    These gaiters are great easy to fit over my Trail shoes keep dirty & grit out protects against rain I love them this is the second pair I've bought 👌.

    For Alpinism

    Had these for over a year, and they've seen about 5 weeks of service in the Alps. The original pair of elasticated cord straps are still going (I've repaired once with physiotherapy tape). They hug mountaineering boots really well, keeping snow out. I've snagged them a couple of time with crampons (bad technique?), and repaired the resulting minor tears with physiotherapy tape again, which lasts really well. The one downside I can see is that they're not breathable, so in warm but wet environments (UK) in particular you might sweat in your boots if they're not particularly breathable. However, for cold alpine environments for shedding snow they're excellent.
