    Great jacket

    This is a soft shell jacket ideal for cooler weather in spring to summer season. It’s fairly wind proof and should be shower proof in light rain. I previously had a similar Montane jacket, but this is one layer and is a bit thinner. I like the pockets being a bit higher up from the waist. I still carry a set of waterproofs and an extra fleece. Usually this jacket and a base layer is all I ever wear though. I like the red colour as well.

    Great item!

    This was just what I wanted. Having spent a while looking into mid/outer layer jackets produced by several companies I eventually returned to Montane. I was after a jacket that had both wind and water resistance, which I could wear as an outer layer over my Protium Lite Pull on Fleece in light showers but when necessary I could put my Montane Spirit waterproof jacket over it. This Tenacity Softshell has proved to be just the ticket!

    I particularly like the semi-elasticated cuffs, which I hadn't considered before buying. The outside pockets are roomy and the inner zipped pocket is really useful. The fit is true to size and although there are only a limited number of colours I am very happy with my choice. I cannot fault it in any way.

    Perfect fit, and really keeps the wind out. Not tested in drizzle. But perfect for the purpose I purchased it for. Really lightweight
