    Not an ideal fit.

    Not as firm fitting as desired. Also felt as if they would drag a little bit when flexing at the hip. So I have returned them.

    Great Shorts with a frustrating new style buckle

    The quality and comfort of these shorts are excellent. However, they are totally destroyed by a poor quality connecting buckle on the belt. The old style "snap/push" buckle by Montane was considerably better and never failed. This new one comes undone when walking/climbing and the adjustment also jams. This is very disappointing as I am a big fan of Montane products but this should be changed. These shorts would be 5 stars with the old style buckle.
