    Nice shorts

    As always, a good bit of kit from Montane.

    These shorts are well suited to the outdoors, as they’re hard-wearing and dry quickly. They have a slimmer, more fashionable cut than many hiking shorts, with jean-style pockets rather than large cargo pockets or zipped compartments. That’s fine if you’re happy to trade a little functionality for a sleeker fit.

    I particularly like the deep fob pocket, which is ideal for keeping keys secure.

    I bought them more for casual wear than for use on the hill, but they’ve still performed well outdoors when needed. Overall, a versatile and comfortable pair of shorts, that look smart with a more tailored fit!

    I’ve said they run slightly small, but more of a slim fit.
