    Very good

    My first pair having bought two other different shorts from Montane. The are very good - more traditional short like so less tailored than others, and a little shorter. But they are great. On elf the things I like about montane beyond the design and fabric is the colours. Walking gear can be terrible boring and predictable, colour wise, nice to see a brand that deviate from that.

    my favourite shorts!

    They're great for hiking, nice and cool, lightweight, quick drying and look smart if you simply want to go out for an evening meal. Oh, and the flex on them is great. I wouldnt want to drag them over rock on a more mountainous hike, i have other shorts for that, but these are no my new favourite all rounder summer shorts. I have even bought another pair in a different colour since.
