    Great Travelling Trousers

    After reading more reviews than I can remember & buying & returning several other brands that didn't quite make it, I bought a pair of these (with a little help from Amy from the customer team) for a trip to Australia & Hong Kong. I'm just back - here's what I found.

    Comfort. We had five flights: Heathrow to Sydney (with a 40m stopover in Changi); Sydney to Coffs Harbour; Coffs Harbour to Sydney; Sydney to Hong Kong; Hong Kong to Heathrow. (See picture attached - well worth the £70 for extra legroom on the front row.) We also had numerous public transport methods scattered throughout (picture attached on the London Thistle Hotel Pods) including the return train journey form Cornwall to Heathrow & back. (The most uncomfortable seats, I mean planks, I have ever experienced - thanks GWR!) With over six solid days of travelling, & worn for every journey, they were robust, stretchy & comfortable - exactly what I wanted. 5/5

    Washable. Inevitably I spilt gin & tonic down one leg & melted chocolate from an in flight meal down another. I also sprayed soap down myself regularly. (Why are dispensers so inaccurate & overpowered?) They dry quickly after immediate clean-up (usually water in the loos) & after a proper wash after each journey, there are no lasting marks. We also had to change a tyre before making it to our Australian home & again they survived brake dust marks aplenty & kneeling on the gravel at the side of an Australian road. Again 5/5.
