    Incredibly light and packable.

    This packs down to very little and can be stashed ready to fend off the wind. Always good to have ar hand.

    Featherlite hooded jacket review

    I have the previous featherlite in Large. Purchased this in an X-Large and it's actually the same size if not smaller. Also, the old hood was a fully functional adjustable large hood, this hood is a streamlined form fitted hood, just realize they serve 2 different purposes. I think the material on the prior featherlite was better quality as well.

    1 way zipper on this one vs 2 way belay zipper on the old one.

    Hand pockets on this one vs chest pocket on old jacket

    This one serves a purpose, size runs a bit smaller, and the hood is more streamlined less functional.

    Great jacket

    Actually my second of these, so that probably tells you enough ... but it is super light, packs down to the size of your fist, & a very effective windproof. Also good in light rain when you'd be too hot in a waterproof.
