    new winter gloves

    Needed well insulated gloves as fingers these days feel it, these are great for that ,they are a little stiff so mobility is restricted but hope this will pass with use

    Montane Alpine Mission Waterproof Gloves

    The gloves are really warm and I use them in the Arctic Circle recently. My my reason for the middle score is that the size differences for this range of gloves is quite minimal. Even as quite a tall male person my hands are not terribly big and even the small size was quite large and meant I was not really able to operate my camera equipment just using these gloves.

    Ridiculous for the UK, but luxurious

    Clearly suited for arctic, greater ranges, alpine stuff. They are heavy for gloves, but you're getting durability, warmth and water resistance in exchange. I wouldn't lead in them as they're not quite dexterous enough, but are good for belaying in cold stances. I wear size medium normally - fingers almost but don't quite meet the ends. I'd probably not size down, though.
