    Hi Kevin, thanks for taking the time to leave a review.

    I am sorry to hear that you feel the quality was not great. The Montane Chief is a very lightweight, simple item designed to keep wind off the neck area. The raw edges make it less likely to rub or cause irritation on the neck, and keep it very packable and adaptable to use. It is not intended to be particularly warm, however is adaptable to wear in summer or winter months. If you are looking for something more substantially warm, the Protium Fleece Neck Gaiter would be the best option.
