    My New Favourite Colder Weather Hat!

    Because of the sizing options (rather than one size fits all, which usually works for me anyway) I did actually measure my head and realised that I needed a size small which fits perfectly without being fractionally too small or large. The coverage around the ears and neck is great and really snug when utilising the chin shock cord preventing high winds from penetrating those areas and having the peak is a positive bonus because the sun is lower in the sky during the season when the hat is likely to be worn, therefore allowing improved vision ahead and in addition to it's very light weight and packability makes it ideal for backpacking. For me at least, is the perfect colder weather hat and in my opinion provides good value for money especially with my loyalty rewards points discount.

    Montane Insulated Mountain Cap

    The quality of heart is great and does keep you warm. However, the cap is slightly too large so when navigating at night it is very hard to read the map and creates a shadow within your walking line.
