    Jacket for lower hills?

    Normally medium size, but experience has taught me to purchase large with jackets.

    This jacket has been used for walks on hills and lowland terrain, rather than the more exposed mountains in Eryri(Snowdonia), which is my preference.

    This jacket is just below waist for me, however, purchased large to add layering, including use of a Montane down jacket.

    It is lightweight and comfortable.

    Purchased in November, has been exposed on a number of occasions to strong wind and rain.

    It has worked so far in repelling the rain, as with any new jacket, this is to be expected.

    I would definitely use the jacket on the mountains in spring and summer, but would be weather dependant. Basically, don’t expect the same as you would from the heavier windproof jackets, but I have purchased knowing this, hence given 5 stars.
